Mission Statement

Clubs may choose to adopt a mission statement. A mission statement is WHAT your club does. Essentially, why it exists.

The AMA’s mission statement: “To promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling.”

Another example is the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s mission is “to care for families along their journey, cure all childhood brain tumors, and help survivors and families thrive.”

Purpose Statement

Clubs may choose to create a purpose statement. A purpose statement is WHY your club does what it does. If your club chooses to file articles of incorporation, you may need to complete a purpose statement. You are officially filing the statement with the government or state.
