With the announcement of a duo of dual-sport bikes, Honda plans to make 2023 a year for accessibility and versatility.
The all-new XR150L focuses on being an “accessible, versatile and value-focused dual-sport motorcycle” according to the Honda release. The CRF300LS is a low-seat version of the CRF300L, presenting it as an option for even more riders.
“At Honda, we’re committed to producing motorcycles that suit riders of all experience levels and backgrounds, and the dual-sport category is a great example of that,” said Brandon Wilson, American Honda Manager of Sports & Experiential.
“The CRF300L is hugely [popular] among those looking for an affordable, reliable dual-sport machine, and the new ‘LS’ version makes the platform an option for those who prefer a shorter seat height. Expanding on that theme, the all-new XR150L is a great dual-sport machine for value-focused customers.”
The XR150L promises to serve as transportation for both short runs and relaxed weekend off-road outings. At an MSRP of $2,971, Honda says the XR150L is “the industry’s lowest price for full-size dual-sport motorcycle.”
The XR150L will be available in April.
A version of the CRF300L, the industry’s top-selling dual-sport model, the CRF300LS aims to open the door for more customers to ride with its lowered seat height. The CRF300LS, which should release in May, comes equipped with ABS and has an MSRP of $5,699.
In addition to the XR150L, CRF300L and CRF300LS, Honda is bringing back the CRF300 Rally entry-level ADV bike and Navi miniMOTO. The CRF300L Rally will be available in April while the Navi is ready a month earlier in March.
“We’re also happy to bring back the CRF300 Rally entry-level ADV bike, as well as the popular and amazingly affordable Navi miniMOTO,” Wilson said. “These models make motorcycling more accessible to new and cost-conscious riders while still offering an enjoyable ride experience for long-time enthusiasts.”
